Unpaginated - 8 pages printed one side each with a hand-colored illustration of a bird (heron, golden eagle, domestic cock, eagle owl, bittern, pheasant, crane) accompanied by a sentence or 2 of text. No date - ca early 19th century. Yellow paper wraps later sewn; rear cover reads "The Good Child's Pretty Museum of Birds". Covers soiled, creased, chipped, one corner (lower rt ft) missing. Pages edge worn, not critically affecting text, except one closed tear across the Crane. Aged but most characterful and appealing.
